Short Biography

Raghavendra Vaidya is Chief Information Officer at Daimler Truck, where he leads the company’s global IT organisation and its work to drive innovation, growth and digital transformation across the business.

He joined the former Daimler AG in 2016 as Senior Vice President of IT at Mercedes-Benz Research and Development India. He subsequently served as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Daimler Truck Innovation Center India, helping establish the centre as an integral part of Daimler Truck’s global engineering, technology and corporate operations.

Raghavendra brings more than 25 years of experience in enterprise technology and previously held senior leadership positions across several General Electric businesses, including Global CIO of the GE Global Research Center. He holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from R.V. College of Engineering, Bengaluru, and a Master of Technology in Software Systems from BITS Pilani.
